Nashville, TN April 26 Over the weekend the Nashville chapter of TOS and Freinds of Warner Parks hosted birding and natural history author Kenn Kaufman. At the Warner Park Nature Center Kenn presented two programs and led a Saturday morning bird walk. In the Friday night program he wove personal experiences in birding with history and natural history. In the Saturday afternoon all-ages program Kenn gave whimsical arguments for the advantages of butterfly watching over bird watching. His sense of humor makes his talks entertaining as well as inspiring and educational. As author he naturaly brought his books to sell, but we were pleasantly surprised that he donated all profits from sales for the weekend to the Nature Center! For this and for sharing his enthusiasm for the natural world we thank him.
