Yesterday's NTOS trip to Memphis got off to a rocky
start due to an accident that shut down I-40 west. We
were delayed two hours.

After arriving, we met Jeff Wilson, Mark Greene and Mike
Todd who led us to all the birds they had scouted out. Thanks
guys. We all had great looks at many shorebirds of at least
ten species. Several members got life birds.

After a late bar-b-que lunch our group split; seven members
elected to return to Nashville and two returned to the pits
for some, " You know what-This late afternoon light is
PERFECT," birding.

Another memorable birding day in Tennessee.

Talk and walk softly, carry a big
scope.
