Just as rain begin to fall around 5:30 PM tonight, birders began to arrive
at Musick's Lakeside Campground. A couple of Sanderling served as the
welcome party along the near shore. Other birds were:

Double-creasted Cormorant - 1
Great Blue Heron - 1
Great Egret - 5
Black-crowned Night-Heron - 1 (heard)
Black Vulture - 15

Killdeer - 1
Spotted Sandpiper - 1
Sanderling - 2
Least Sandpiper - 1
Black Tern - 3
Pileated Woodpecker - 1 (heard)
American Crow - 3
