A member of the Memphis Chapter visited the TVA Ponds where a security guard stopped and talked to her. He identified himself as a Mr. Smith who is in charge of security at the TVA Allen Steam Plant, Mrs Levy was told that he (Mr. Smith) knew birders came to view birds at the ponds and it was all right with him if they continued to do so. He suggested that birders use his name if guards stop them. Let's hope this solves the problem. Good Luck! (As I was writing this, a Winter Wren landed outside my window - another good reason for not sweeping the cobwebs off the overhangs.)
