Louisville Point Park - Blount County - March 28, 2009

As the weather broke Saturday afternoon I headed to Louisville Point  
in Blount County in hopes of photo opportunities of the Great Blue  
Heron rookery. I was thrilled to note (and photograph) several species  
building nests. Great Blue Herons, Tufted Titmouse and Brown-headed  
Nuthatches, as well as numerous other species also enjoying the break  
from the rain.
