Birders & friends,
The Lebanon Birding Club meets again at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, 17 March
2018 in Cabin 13 at Cedars of Lebanon State Park.
The program will be on Landscaping For Birds & Other Wildlife and will be
presented by our very own Linda Robertson. Linda is a skilled birder and a
certified Tennessee Extension Master Gardener who is responsible for
establishing and maintaining the Native Plant & Butterfly Garden at Cedars
of Lebanon State Park. Come hear Linda talk about the do's and don'ts of
landscaping and gardening for birds, butterflies and other wildlife.
As always, anyone interested in birding (or gardening for birds) is welcome
to attend our meeting so feel free to share this with your friends and
neighbors. There is never any pressure to join our organization, but we
hope everyone will find something they like and will return.
Cabin 13 is centrally located in the park, but easily overlooked. Once you
enter the park, continue on past the Park Office (on your right) until you
come to a fork in the road. Turn right onto WPA Road and continue on past
the old rock Cedar Lodge (also on your right). After crossing two speed
bumps on WPA Road, look for the shaded playground on your left. Turn left
onto the gravel drive next to the shaded playground, and Cabin 13 will be
the first cabin on your right.
See you next Saturday, 17 March 2018.
