Sat. May 11th is International Migratory Bird Count, and ANYONE that is not going on the local field trips are invited to help. I know there is a TOS field trip to Cove Lake St. Pk and Caryville Mt, and hope many of you that attend that will count birds also. Campbell County is a great diverse place to bird with Cumberland Mt. habitat Plateau and Valley areas. In the 3 years I did the count, I was only able to cover about 1/4 of it (most of it in the mountain habitat) , and had over 100 species 2 years in a row. I can direct you to some nice areas to bird that have never been covered that could hold some rarities. PLEASE email or call asap if you would like to help and I will give more detail and directions on an area I would like you to cover.
