First wintertime thrush I've ever seen here in 21 years, woohoo!!! It
foraged for bugs, etc., in and around my ground feeding/suet/mealworm
station, among the squirrels, chipmunks, and usual winter birds. Pretty
rufous tail. Had what I'm pretty sure was a Magnolia warbler hunting in my
cedars two Saturdays ago. I also had 3 pairs of Purple finches for ~3
weeks; haven't seen them in 2 days, though. And I don't recall having
White-throated sparrows without Juncos before, but 2-5 White-throats have
been here for almost 3 weeks and not one Junco yet.
