20 March 2010 7:30-11:30am Haynes Bottom Wildlife Management Area Montgomery County, TN The Warioto Audubon field trip to Haynes Bottom WMA this morning provided good looks at Wilson's snipe, high numbers of Swamp sparrows, and a good number of White-crowned sparrows. Polly Rooker, from TWRA, joined Elaine Foust, Daniel Moss, and Ching Li Wang and lead us through the area as we tallied 44 species. Birds were moving slow in the cooler temps this morning (low 40's), but activity picked up as it warmed into the low 60's.
