[TN-Bird] Harpeth River Greenway Sunday 10-10-10

I walked along the greenway as the sun came up and found
plenty of PALM WARBLERs left over from yesterday.  They seem
to like the lake edge and the willows.  In all
I totalled 7 warbler species, the best being a lone
ORANGE-CROWNED WARBLER.  After a couple week absence,
my EASTERN SCREECH OWL made its presence know again.
It was a 5 sparrow morning with my first of the season
WHITE-CROWNED SPARROW.  Unlike yesterday NTOS fall
bird count, when ROSE-BREASTED GROSBEAKs made a very
strong showing, I only managed to find 1 today.

Birds of interest included:
Easter Screech Owl 1
N. Rough winged Swallow 4
Ruby crowned Kinglet 3
Gray Catbird  1

Warblers:
Tennessee  3
Orange crowned  1
Nashville   1
Yellow rumped 12
Black-throated Green  1
Palm 7
Common Yellowthroat 5

White crowned Sparrow  1 immature
Rose breasted Grosbeak 1
Indigo Bunting 3
