This afternoon Mac and I were stopped at a gas station on the east side
of exit 127 on Interstate 24 (where highway 50 crosses to Pelham) when we
saw two swans fly up from a field, about 300 yards north of us. They flew
to the northwest, and we were not able to relocate them. Because of the
distance from us we could not get any idea of the species. The site where
we saw them is an eBird hot spot called George Clay Rd. farm pond.
