My husband and I went out this morning and had a very profitable day birding in
Jefferson County..
Talleys pond on Valley Home Road had about 200+ ducks and 30 Canada Geese
Ruddy, greater and Lesser scaup, beautiful American wigeons, blue winged teal,
ring-necked and bufflehead.
Falcon Road-Northern Harrier, eastern meadowlark, loggerhead shrike,
buffleheads and mallards and a Merlin. Thanks for the tip Robert Welch!
