5-14-2010 Radnor Lake Davidson Co. After seeing the Olive-sided Flycatcher at Radnor Lake late afternoon yesterday, I went back this morning with photographer Dave Hawkins. Unfortunately it wasn't there, but there were several cooperative and vocal Yellow-billed Cuckoos near the ranger house at the dam. Dave got some great photos. There was also a Gray-cheeked Thrush calling just up the road from the west parking lot. It showed beautifully as Dave's photos attest. _YELLOW-BILLED CUCKOO photo - Dave Hawkins photos at pbase.com_ (http://www.pbase.com/davehawkins/image/124527708) (http://www.pbase.com/davehawkins/swainsons_thrush) _GRAY-CHEEKED THRUSH Photo Gallery by Dave Hawkins at pbase.com_ (http://www.pbase.com/davehawkins/graycheeked_thrush) Jan Shaw Nashville, TN =================NOTES TO SUBSCRIBER===================== The TN-Bird Net requires you to SIGN YOUR MESSAGE with first and last name, CITY (TOWN) and state abbreviation.
