George Payne will coordinate birding parties at Shelby Farms Park for that
part of the Memphis CBC. Participants should meet Sunday morning, December
20 at 7:15 a.m. in the Amphitheater Parking Lot on North Pine lake Drive.
Depending on the number of people, we will split into several groups.
We will meet for lunch at 11:45 a.m. at the picnic tables at the Woodland
Discovery Playground parking area, so bring lunch. The parking area has
restrooms. We'll check our lists to see what we need to work on in the
afternoon.
We will stay to look for Short-Eared Owls north of the Senior Gardens about
5:00 p.m. Please submit all field cards and lists to George by the end of
the day for compilation purposes.
