This morning (Oct.5) I had my first Yellow-bellied Sapsucker of the
year (along with a R-B Grosbeak and lots of Tenn. and Pine Warblers) in
west Oak Ridge, Roane Co., Tenn.
Does anyone know if this is especially early for the sapsucker?
Seems so to me but my Robinson's Birds of Tennessee is packed away.
