Monday morning
April 11, 2011

I observed my first of the season Ruby-throated Hummingbird, a male, this
morning. My feeders have been up a week or so and may have been visited
earlier because I thought I heard one late on Friday afternoon. However,
today was my first confirmed sighting.

I also still have my sweet-singing White-throated Sparrows visiting my
peanut butter suet and scratching around on the ground.
