TN-birders, Dollyann and I will be leading a field trip to Eagle Bend fish hatchery in Anderson County, Saturday morning at 8 am. We went out there today to look around and found a Buff-breasted Sandpiper. Usually when we go there we spend about 40 minutes checking the area out. This usually results in about 20-35 species. Today we ran into some migration and in an hour we had 38 species (including 10 species of warblers), including a Prairie Warbler and a Yellow-bellied Cuckoo, both of which were new species for us at this site. My total list from Eagle Bend is now up to 158 species over the years. Hope some of these hang around for the field trip Saturday morning! Great birding, Ron Hoff Clinton, TN
