Yesterday after viewing the Say's Phoebe at Hatchie, we drove to the Duck River Unit of the TNWR. Most of the area was flooded with thousands of waterfowl, many eagles and a flock of at least 2000 blackbirds which were too far away to identify. A very special treat was an adult Peregrine Falcon perched in a dead tree over the water. The complete list of species is as follows.
