My husband and I just returned from a walk around Radnor Lake. He spotted a
female Long-tailed Duck. We saw it from Otter Creek Road closer to the causeway
side (versus the dam road) and it was hanging out with Buffleheads and Ruddy
Ducks. She was diving and feeding. She has the distinctive white face and the
black eye in the middle of her white face. We have a very distant photo.
We also saw four Rusty Blackbirds.
