I birded the east end of Radnor Lake this morning, including up to the
aviary. It was very slow and quiet, with Prothonotary and Louisiana
Waterthrush the only warblers until I started back down the hill and came
to the power line cut. I heard several chip notes of the Connecticut
Warbler, then saw it briefly low on the east side of the road. It then flew
very low across the road and I never heard it again. It never sang while I
was there.
