Leigh & I checked on the Common Loon on the Adair Park small pond early Friday morning. This marks 15 days since we first saw him there. I called TWRA directly thereafter & informed them that the loon was looking weaker, & the extended time that has passed. I was told that Joe Durnan w/ TWRA was assigned to this case, & would be assessing the situation. I received a phone message from TWRA biologist Pete Wyatt Saturday that said a TWRA law enforcement officer had looked at the loon, & the regional supervisor was evaluating whether to transfer the loon now or not. We passed by the pond Saturday morning, & the loon is still parked in the pond. I will call TWRA Monday morning to check on progress. - Robert Loveday Knoxville __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Yahoo!
