Hello Tennessee Birders,

Nora Schubert and myself were in the cemetary 1.5 miles behind Milligan
College(Carter County) tonight and heard 2 Chucks singing which was a FOS for
both of us. I looked in the newest National Geographic birdguide (and its
gigantus companion) and according to their maps, the Chuck-Wills-Widow range
pretty much stops west of Knoxville in East Tennessee. I think it would be
neat to list everybody's favorite Chuck haunt to see just how many areas we
have in East Tennessee, east of Knoxville. I know of this area which supports
a couple of different places to hear Chucks and have heard them there for
years. I never realized their distribution was so low East of Knoxville in
Tennessee.
