Spring Migration in full swing with more neotropical migrants making their
first appearances.

The Pergrine Falcons are still being seen below Chickamuga Dam at least one
chick possibly hatched at the nest site on the railroad trestle on April 20.

Five Caspain Terns were seen below Chickamuga Dam on April 22 (Harold
Sharpe, George Parsley) and two were seen below Nickajack Dam in Marion co.
on April 22 (Kevin Calhoon).

An Upland Sandpiper was seen at the Standifer Marsh on April 20 (Ron Hoff)
and five Semi-palmated Sandpipers were seen there on April 25. (Marty Paige)

First report of Indigo Bunting came from Ooltewah on April 19 (Libby Wolfe)

The first report of Bobolink came from the Riverport fields on April 20
(John Henderson).Amnicola marsh is low enough right now for decent shorebird
habitat, several of the common spring species have been reported there as
well as singing Prothonotary Warblers.

The first report of Eastern Wood Peewee and Baltimore Oriole came from the
Craven's House on April 21(Clyde Blum) as well as the first reports of
Chestnut-sided Warbler (Libby Wolfe, Janice Chadwell) (April 22) Nashville
Warbler (Kevin Calhoon, Janice Chadwell)(April 22) and Swainson's Thrush
(Kevin Calhoon) (April 21).  The first report of Tennessee Warbler and
Rose-breasted Grosbeak came from the Craven's House on April 20. (Kevin
