Went to Cades Cove GSMNP and Louisville Pt. Park (Blount Co.) today. Wish I had known about the Whooper- I could have stopped along the way. Saw about 15-20 Wild Turkey near a house on the side of the hwy before getting to Townsend. I heard someone feeds them there. I stopped at the entrance to the Cove to ask where the sewage pond was but the man wasn't sure what I was talking about. He did point to a pond behind the horse pastures which turned out to be right.
