Cades Cove
GSMNP
Blount County

Kris Johnson and I decided to do an informal fall count in Cades
Cove on Sunday, October 1. As more of the barren fescue fields
return to native grasses and plants, the number and variety of
species seems to be on the increase in the Cove. Also thanks
to beavers' wetland restoration project, there are more and
more small marshes scattered around the Cove.
