My blue jays just created a ruckus out back when they spied a red-tailed
hawk in a tree here in the Charlotte Park section of West Nashville, Davidson
County. My one blue jay called the alarm, was quickly joined by several more,
and they have now successfully chased the lovely raptor across the Cumberland
River to Bell's Bend where it lives. It does drop by here every once in a
while to check out the birds and squirrels on Dee's Smorgabird!
