John Henderson and I birded briefly in Marion County, TN on the way to Jackson County, AL and on the way back. On the East side of Nickajack Dam, from the?parking lot at the end of the Dam, we observed 23 Black Terns feeding over the milfoil just north of the dam around 6:40 AM CDT. We also observed a single Spotted Sandpiper there as well. On the way back, we observed what appeared to be?one young Scissor-tailed Flycatcher at the second traffic light on US 72 going south from I-24 in South Pittsburg. The bird was on the West side of the road across the cross street from Physician's Care. This observation occured around 10:25 AM CDT. ?
