Hi Steve:
I use the app too and love it. I’ve been in places where there is no cell
coverage and it allows you to create a checklist offline. It first gathers
your latitude and longitude, then you begin your checklist. When you’re in a
location that does have coverage you can then click on the checklist - it will
locate you and ask if you want to create a personal hotspot or use an existing
one. It’s very easy.

it like breeding codes, sex-age info, etc. You can always update that info
later on the actual eBird site. It's my understanding that Cornell University
manages the app now and are planning new updates or versions to make the app
more capable.

You are also required to list the COUNTY in which the birds
you report were seen. The actual DATE OF OBSERVATION should
