Bells Bend - Old Hickory Blvd

As a result of the heavy overnight rain, I went to Bells Bend this
Tuesday morning and searched the flooded sod farm fields hoping
that something interesting might have dropped in. My best find was
a rather late BARN SWALLOW repeatedly skimming the water of a small
pond in the middle of the tilled sod field next to the river.
Also heard and then saw a flock of about 125 SNOW GEESE fly over as
they headed toward the Cumberland River. I scanned for a smaller
goose but did not find one.
