Hi All, Jan Shaw, Richard Irvin, a visitor from California, and I birder Radnor Lake, various spots in Williamson Cnty. and some locations in Cheatham Cnty. yesterday and today. Total species seen was about sixty. We had great looks at several Grasshopper Sparrows. We watched as one gathered nesting material. These birds are in an old farm pasture that, unfortunately, is being subdivided. This prime habitat may soon cease to exist. This morning we shared great looks at Hooded, Prairie and Prothonotary Warblers along with many great birds. All in all is was a wonderful day and a half of birding in the good ole summertime.
