Also what about those feeders that are on the top of a metal pole? I don't
think squirrels can climb those if you set them out far enough from trees so
they can't jump on them. Of course you might not get as many woodpeckers and
nuthatches which seem to like feeders fairly close to the trunk so they can get
at
them easily.
