[TN-Bird] All white Grackle observed

Grackle (all white)

Colonial Heights area of Kingsport

 

Sullivan County 

 

A large flock of grackles contains one individual that is all white. Some of
the feathers are actually dirty yellow stained , but it is actually all
white colorless. It was feeding on the ground outside my office window along
with 30 or so black individuals. The flock intimidated the other regulars.

It was gone in an instant. 

 

The flock comes to the yard everyday and is very large. It will be monitored
with hopes to get a photo.

 

The bird was spotted again on the wing this time within a flock of many
hundreds that visits the neighborhood every day.
