Yesterday, I had my first phoebe in the Charlotte Park area of West Nashville, just east of the old Cleece's Ferry landing & boat ramp on the Cumberland. We did have them on the March 13th Nashville TOS field trip where they appeared to be selecting a possible nesting location under the walking bridge at the marsh behind the Children's Museum in Murfreesboro that we visited. Mine was perched on a small tree branch in my back yard just a-hollering away and a-flicking its tail ferociously. It soon left, and I haven't seen it again, so I guess my environs are not too attractive to the phoebe. Go get a good bird, TODAY!
