Citrix doesn't care whether a server is 64 bit or 32 bit, the same license applies, based on what they told me when I asked them about it. Everything is based on the number of clients connecting to the general product version, so they just care that it is a PS 4 server. ________________________________ From: thin-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:thin-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of IT Support Sent: Tuesday, March 21, 2006 4:51 AM To: thin@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [THIN] Re: x64 bit Citrix... any experience aquired? Every new install I do is x64. Make sure all apps are 32-bit or higher. Also make sure that the app installers are not 16-bit. I had to rebuild two x64 installs because the installer was 16-bit but the app is 32-bit. ________________________________ From: thin-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:thin-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of IT Support Sent: Thursday, March 16, 2006 10:40 AM To: thin@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [THIN] x64 bit Citrix... any experience aquired? Hi list, We are thinking of moving to x64 bit windows and Citrix, I haven't seen a post on it thus far on the list, just wondering if any of you have completed/attempted this exercise previously?? What are the primary considerations? Does it affect TS licensing? What about Citrix Licensing? All $00.02 greatly received..... :-) Jaime NOTICE: This electronic mail transmission from the law firm of Dinsmore & Shohl may constitute an attorney-client communication that is privileged at law.
