Thanks, do you (or anyone) know where in the registry exactly??? If so, I could just create a script or a custom .adm and do it that way... ________________________________ From: thin-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx on behalf of Andrew Wood Sent: Thu 8/17/2006 4:12 PM To: thin@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [THIN] Re: stupid little question... Isn't this saved in the registry as a binary value? if you wanted to set it as a policy you'd have to have something like desktopstandard which allows you to set binary values through a GPO http://www.desktopstandard.com/. ________________________________ From: thin-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:thin-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Luchette, Jon Sent: 17 August 2006 20:53 To: thin@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [THIN] stupid little question... Hello, Anybody know how to control the size of the quick launch bar for all users on your server? For example, if the task bar is not locked you can just drag the size bar to the right or the left depending on how many shortcuts you have in your quick launch toolbar and how many shortcuts you want to have displayed. The default is to show 3, and I generally lock the task bar within the GPO being applied to that box or to that user. But how do I control that as an administrator for all users (script, GPO, reg hack, etc)? What I really want to do is to move the size bar to the right for all users so that I can show 4 shortcuts by default and not only 3. Just figured I'd ask...
