Hi Andrew, Client OS is 'likely' to be XP. imagine a home user with no local printers and running a local copy of Word but wishing to print to a printer visible to the Citrix server. There is stuff like Citrix's LiveEdit technology??? but I don't think it allows printing to the server printer... oh, and the login consultants thing, the name of which escapes me? cheers -----Original Message----- From: thin-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:thin-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx]On Behalf Of Dogers Sent: 02 November 2005 13:16 To: thin@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [THIN] Re: printer redirection in the opposite direction..ish Do you not have a print server? I recall that Log*in Consultants came up with something recently that allowed fat clients to run on a published desktop.. but cant remember the name of said product.. I wondered if this technology allowed that fat app running on the desktop to be able to print to ther serverside resources?? would make sense that it could??? Isn't that called a network attached printer? :) Andrew ============================================================================== Please access the attached hyperlink for an important electronic communications disclaimer: http://www.csfb.com/legal_terms/disclaimer_external_email.shtml <http://www.csfb.com/legal_terms/disclaimer_external_email.shtml> ============================================================================== ============================================================================== Please access the attached hyperlink for an important electronic communications disclaimer: http://www.csfb.com/legal_terms/disclaimer_external_email.shtml ==============================================================================
