If you are using 2000 and AD, you can use group policies and folder redirection to do this. If you are using an NT4 domain, the old school policies will do the same thing. Define groups as to who gets what on their desktop, then define the folder redirection for those groups to point to a common area on the network for the icons that are to be displayed on the desktop. You add a new icon to the desktop folder, it appears for everyone in that group. You can have different folders for different groups with different icons in each one. \\server\profiles\accounting \\server\profiles\staff etc. John >>> jstuhlmiller@xxxxxxxxxxx 02/06/03 03:58PM >>> Is there any tools / utilites to help manage desktop sessions / profiles So you don't have to go into every desktop session and put icons on desktops etc for each user?
