You can run the E2k3 in the Win2K domain. If you follow the set up guide
which launches automatically, it will direct you to run SchemaPrep and
ForestPrep, which gets your domain ready.

If you plan on using RPC-on-HTTP, you must run a Win2K3 domain.

Subject: [THIN] exchange 2003

I apologize for this off subject.

I'm about to install 2003 exchange server and would like to install it on a
2003 server. Problem is I don't have any 2003 server boxes running. I seem
to remember that the first 2003 server upgrade in a domain should be (or has
to be) a domain controller? Can anyone tell me if I'm making this up or if
there is fact behind that?

Thanks

Nick

PS. Anyone know how to share GALs or create a GAL as an address book between
trusted domains? Its not the same forest, organization or anything, only
trusted.
