It doesn't matter if it's mandatory or not... The shortcuts themselves
should end up in the user's profile (start menu, desktop location).
Placement location etc is located in the non-roaming section of the user's
profile.

Thanks for the reply.We do use res powerfuse.the problem is that the
profiles are not mandatory,so the users should be able to use own
shortcuts(or am i wrong?).
