Hi Al,

There are no issues whatsoever. But going from Web Interface 4.x to 5.x is a
big visual change, depending on how you've customised it, so you may find that
you need to provide some user documentation or screenshots when you communicate
the changeover to the users.

I have found that 11.2 is a far superior client. Ensure you get the Client
folder structure correct, as mentioned here:

Yes, of course you get all the STA and XML failover benefits.

Cheers,

Jeremy.

Subject: [THIN] Web Interface 5.2 Upgrade

Hi All,

I am currently testing the latest web interface 5.2 with a VM clone , we
currently use Web Interface 4.5 with Xenapp 4.5 Win2003, and users have the
Citrix XenApp plugin 11.0 installed on clients PC's on XP and Win7.

What Im looking at doing is replacing my WI server with the clone and testing
functionality out of hours but I wanted to know before hand if there are any
issues with using the current 11.0 plug in, will I need to upgrade all clients
to the new Online Plug-in 11.2 and if not do you still get the benefits of 5.2
for STA redundancy etc?

Any tips would be great!

Thanks

Al
