I get all the event related to assignement and release of IP... I can see the IPs in the CMC but that reg key does not get created... I create it manually and instantly, IE (or any other apps, I tried many!!!) works for that VIP... really weird... I've assigned iexplore.exe I've assigned iexplore I've assigned c:\program files\internet explorer\iexplore.exe In fact, I've tried many apps, with and without full path... It's really related to that registry key that does not get created at logon of the user... There's not "access denied" or anything like that in regmon/filemon.... It's just like PS4.0 does not create it at all. ________________________________ De : thin-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:thin-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] De la part de thinlist@xxxxxxxxx Envoyé : 27 mars 2006 12:32 À : thin@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Objet : [THIN] Re: Virtual IP not created on a citrix server I think ur right about iexplore, i think some iexplore security checks doesn't lend itself to well to virtual IP. Try an alternate browser. But the key you are describling should still be created if VIP is working ok. Anything in the event logs about IP assignment to session and release? Here's the setup: PS 4.0 entreprise edition Windows 2003 SP1 MUI French Need VIP for IEXPLORE because i'm using bluecoat proxy with per ip rules. Now, i've troubleshoot everything i could and i pointed to the registry. Usually, when a user logs in, under HKLM/software/citrix/VIP the system creates a key with the session ID as the name. Inside that key, there's a Dword with the IP value in hexa decimal... For some reason, in my system, this does not occurs... If i create the key manually, it works perfect!!!! i've looked at the security of the key, everything is the same as my working servers. Anyone has an idea??? many thanks
