where do you get chklat from ???

Try using Rich text instead of word and see if it is faster. Also
turn
the Auto spell check off and it should increase the speed.

I would also have her run CHKLAT.exe to see what the latency from the
server to the client is

I have a person who works for a client who uses outlook/exchange
remotely over high speed cable access. This person complains that she
can type faster than the system. I had no input on selling this but
now
I need to fix it. I was looking for some suggestions that people have
done to help improve the lag time on typing? Server is a dual cpu xeon
with 2gigs of ram win2k SP3 Metaframe XP FR3
