Maybe my questions were too vague but I just had what I thought were two easy, quick questions. 1 - Can MF XP draw licenses from those pooled from MF 1.8 boxes? and 2 - If question one answer is "Yes", if the XP box moves to a different subnet can it still draw from the pool? I'm only referring to the Citrix side of licensing, on the MS side, I'm fine. This isn't a typical citrix environment because we aren't pushing normal office type applications out but instead many different custom VB applications to support our distribution center. I should also mention that these servers are not members of the domain, all accounts, the few that there are, are local. We are in the process of adding another server to the mix but due to our aging software (and corporate mandates) we will be going to Win2K with this one and the others may follow within a year or so. The Citrix side is where I have the question. If I go with MF XP, will I have any issues with the licensing? i.e. will there be any issues with this new server pulling licenses from the pool? If this server is made a member of the domain (and most likely on a different subne! t) how will that effect me?
