You could always write a short script that would launch a "sleep 30" to pause for 30 seconds (or whatever time frame it takes for the USB to authenticate) and then launch the connection...then, just put the batch script in the startup menu and you should be okay...I believe you can get the sleep.exe command off thethin.net if I'm not mistaken... All of this assumes that you can put the files on the thin client, of course... Good luck. -Dave Melczer dmelczer@xxxxxxxx -----Original Message----- From: thin-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:thin-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Bill Beckett Sent: Tuesday, July 05, 2005 2:00 PM To: thin@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [THIN] USB We have several thin clients running Win 98. We want to use USB wireless adapters for connection to Terminal Servers. Some users have a direct connection to the desktop. The problem is that the connection is in their startup menu and it launches before the adapter has a chance to authenticate. Any workaround for this problem other than taking it out of startup? ********************************************************************** Please be advised that this transmittal may be a confidential attorney-client communication or may otherwise be privileged or confidential.
