Is anyone trying to log on/off? I had the same problem with some Xerox
drivers. When users logged on the spooler service would sit around 25%.

Microsoft also have several hotfixes for login and spooler related errors.
Have a browse through http://www.citrix4ge.de/w2ksp4.htmas there may be
some there that can assist.

Cheers

Hello
W2k sp3
Mf xp fr3
For some reason we end up with spoolsv.exe on one of our servers just
sitting there using 25 cpu.

I need some clues as what to look to at try and identify the cause.

I have cleared all nt4 drivers so we only have one (adobe writer).

I checked the spooler folder and can't find any files spooling?

Not sure if this is related to fr3 and upd2?

Anyways, if anyone has tips as were to look, check? I would like to track
this down.

I have restarted the spooler but seems to hang around still after.

bye
