Stop and restart the spool service. When it's stopped look in the spool directory for any potentially bad files and clear them out. _____ From: thin-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:thin-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Berny Stapleton Sent: Thursday, December 08, 2005 8:57 AM To: thin@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [THIN] Slow printing Anyone know where to start looking when the spooling of printing slows to a crawl? Print jobs that normally take 2 seconds to come out are taking 23 seconds to come out. Physically, nothing has changed, we installed a printer yesterday, but that change has been backed out. Network wise, it looks fine, the print server isn't doing much, servers are having it relatively easy. Just printing in particular has slowed down. The rest of the environment isn't exactly behaving like it's semi snappy self either... Any suggestions?
