OK, Not much experieince; just playing with the default set-up on a SBS Portal. I think it's marketing hype, because the people issuing the releases probably don't really get Citrix. Portal Server is an impressive data sharer - and if you look at Citrix as a way to share data to remote sites- then it's in the same field. However, Portal Server basically only gives you an HTML window to leverage existing technology. So, yes, you can put an icon on your Portal Server site, and it will enable you to download an Excel file. Click on another and it will open an OWA window for you. Click on another and it will open a raw TS Session for you. It's good stuff, and I can see lots of places it's going to extremly appropriate - particularly, for example, for execs on the road. But it's no more a Citrix replacement then W2K3 is. If raw TS W2K3 is enough for your needs, then SPS is goign to make it easier to get it to your road warriors - and that'll be great for some companies. But if you need the facilities offered by Citrix, othet tahn, to a very minor extent, web-based publishing, thenyou'll still need them. Has anyone any experience with this solution, or even better an comparison with Citrix. Thanks ! Jan
