Not that I am aware of. The only thing you can try is removing the Run
command from the Start menu, which also has effects on Internet Explorer
functionality. The user will be blocked from entering the following into
the Internet Explorer Address Bar:

- A UNC path: \\<server>\<share>

- Accessing local drives: e.g., C:

- Accessing local folders: e.g., \temp>

Cheers,

Jeremy.

Subject: [THIN] Saving files to UNC paths from within application dialog
boxes

Hello there,

Is it possible to stop users from specifying UNC paths in application
dialog boxes ?

I.E stopping users saving a document / file to a local drive by using
UNC paths from within Notepad , Word , Excel etc etc

Client drive mapping is disabled and it isnt always possible to control
the webica.ini on unmanaged devices.

I cant remember if this is possible or not. I thought it was but after
doing some searches maybe i was wrong.

Thanks for your time.
