I don't specifically remember where, but there is a feature that allows
you to optimize ICA sessions for a "High-Bandwidth, High-Latency"
connection. From what I understand, it was by a government request
specifically for use with sat connections.

That is beyond my control and I know of the latency issues! I have
tried to explain them, but there are some people who just don't get
light-speed delay. SO I thought I would post and see if anyone had any
ideas just in case.

Due to the fact that satellites are in geostationary orbit, ping times

Have you investigated cellular based internet access?

I have a user that is planning to setup an office where the only
high-speed option for internet access is Satellite. In my expierence
using satellite for internet connectivity has never worked well. When
we tested ping times were routinely above 700 and frequently in the 900
range. Currently she gets dropped quite often Anyone have any
experience with users on satellite connections? Since we go through a
PS4 environment and do not use PN at all, i think my chances of being
able to tweak ICA settings and such is fairly low.
