I have it to, but only on one server. I have tried almost everything to get rid of it. -----Original Message----- From: thin-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:thin-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Mikael Johnsen Sent: Thursday December 12, 2002 4:31 AM To: thin@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [THIN] SV: MSN Messenger 4.7 removal on TS I have the same exact error and can't remove it either Med venlig hilsen / Best regards Mikael Johnsen Systemadministrator / System Administrator =20 PBJ Consult A/S =20 Roholmsvej 10G DK-2620 Albertslund Phone: +45 43 62 74 00, Fax: +45 43 62 74 24 Email: mailto:mjo@xxxxxx, Homepage: http://www.pbj.dk -----Oprindelig meddelelse----- Fra: Tom Erdely [mailto:te@xxxxxxxxxx]=20 Sendt: 9. december 2002 10:56 Til: thin@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Emne: [THIN] MSN Messenger 4.7 removal on TS I have uninstalled MSN Messenger from our terminal servers. Now, everytime someone logs in, they get a message box asking if they want to remove their personal settings from MSN Messenger. Whether they click yes or no, they then get an access denied INF file error. I have checked everyone's startup folder (all users and specific users), and everyone's registry under the RUN field, and no references are made to removing MSN messenger settings. Is there any way to prevent this message from coming up? I had wanted to just reinstall MSN Messenger 4.7 and add it to the disallowed programs via registry, but now I can only download version 5 which we don't want on the TS. =20 Any suggestions would be appreciated. I just want to get rid of the "MSN Messengers settings" dialog that appears at startup, or at least know which INF file they are getting an error because of. =20 Servers are all Windows 2000 Server with SP3, IE 6 SP1, etc... =20 They all of Citrix, but the problem happens with our without ICA.
